A Shower. A Fresh Start. A Little Dignity.

The need in our community continues to grow. Every week, TACO welcomes people who are experiencing homelessness or struggling to make ends meet; many coming to us for a meal, their mail, clean clothing, social services, or simply a safe and welcoming place to turn for help.

One service that has become especially meaningful is our shower program. Having consistent access to a hot shower is something many of us take for granted. For someone living on the streets, it can mean so much more: a chance to feel clean, put-on fresh clothing, prepare for an appointment or job interview, and regain a sense of dignity.

TACO can currently offer about 60 showers each month, along with essentials such as clean underwear, socks, towels, and hygiene supplies. We would love to add additional shower days each month so we can serve even more people, but our ability to expand the program depends on donations. Each additional shower day means additional supplies, staffing, laundry, and operating costs.

Your support can help us say “yes” to more shower days and provide this much-needed service to more of our unhoused neighbors.
