Bike The Bay the TACO Way 2026!

Bike the Bay the TACO Way 2026 was a tremendous success!

Nearly 50 riders signed up, raising thousands of dollars for our neighbors in need while completing a lap around beautiful—and warm—San Diego Bay!

And warm it was! Temperatures climbed to nearly 100 degrees Fahrenheit, and only the hardiest, bravest riders took on the challenge! Thanks to our dedicated volunteers, riders stayed fueled and refreshed at three “love stations”

stocked with drinks, snacks, and shade. The bike ride even became a boat ride as participants sailed from Coronado to the Downtown Pier, then completed the final mile on wheels back to TACO headquarters!

We are deeply grateful to everyone—riders, volunteers, sponsors, and supporters alike!

Last year, TACO delivered 33,000 pieces of mail to more than 2,300 people who use our address as their own. We also prepared and served over 31,000 meals. Without riders, volunteers, and donors like you, the people we serve would suffer. That is not hyperbole. We see firsthand what happens when vital services disappear and people must navigate homelessness alone. It can devastate a person, and services like ours can mean the difference between hope and despair.
